Shaking table Tournesol

Operational since 1976, this table is bi-axial (horizonal and vertical). The plate in aluminium, of 2x2 m, has a 10-ton payload. Its course is 250 mm horizontally and 200 mm vertically. Being bi-axial, it is mainly used to perform seismic qualification testing on average-size equipments.
