Pit Iris

With a 15.5 m depth and a 4. m diameter, this clump in reinforced concrete has a mass of 1,059 tons. Thanks to some actuators, which can be planted in several places, the Iris pit authorizes mechanical excitements on large height structures such as nuclear reactor control rods.
